As they attempt to become legal citizens and get rich, they find themselves up to their necks in bureaucratic red tape, making enemies with the mafia, and getting in trouble with the government agencies, pharmaceutical companies, and the medical establishment. Immigration rules do not cover this.
This is what might happen when an alien spaceship shows up with aliens seeking a home on Planet Earth in the United States, and immigration laws don't cover space aliens. It's the story of 12 aliens who land their ship on the White House lawn and apply for residency. Simple, right? Well, maybe not.
